Friends of Big Bear Valley is an environmental education nonprofit founded in 2001 to protect the wildlife, habitats, and biodiversity of Big Bear Valley in the San Bernardino National Forest. It operates the Big Bear Bald Eagle nest cameras, which stream free to viewers worldwide, provides classroom programs for teachers and students, and advocates for the valley’s environment, including raising $10 million to conserve the Moon Camp property.
